In 2001, GooglyMinotaur, an AOL Instant Messenger bot, was developed by ActiveBuddy to promote Radiohead’s fifth album, Amnesiac. Its release marks one of the earliest commercial uses of Chatbots. After conversing with nearly one million people about Radiohead related content, the bot was switched off. The cause of death is undetermined.

Basically, there will be less public content in the News feed. This includes videos and other posts from publishers or businesses. Business page posts will continue to appear in the News feed though there will be less of them.
Preparing for a presentation can be pretty nerve-wracking. Making sure you communicate your message correctly and accurately is key. Between picking the right platform to present your pitch, making sure the right slides are included and knowing how to design the presentation, there’s a lot to consider when creating your pitch deck.

As of 2018 Facebook has announced they are discontinuing the M project.
It seems the past holiday season was just the nudge people needed to finally give in and welcome a voice AI device into their homes. Par the course of technology, Amazon Alexa homes could soon be a place for advertising, or at least that’s the rumor we’re hearing.
Over the last two decades, Facebook has been working on improving its platform for publishers with things like Instant Articles and News Feed Videos. Did they change their minds? Digiday, the digital media platform, has a “confessions series” in which they “exchange anonymity for candor”. I’m shocked to read the most recent confessions of an audience development head at a midsize digital publisher. Apparently, going into 2018 publishers aren’t as keen on Facebook as they once were.
