By now, you’ve probably heard of Periscope. If not, Periscope is a social media platform that allows users to live stream videos to anyone around the world. Not only has Royal Caribbean checked out Periscope, but they’re using it in a way no one else has before. The cruise company is taking their Periscope videos and displaying them on billboards in New York City. In conjunction with their “Come Seek Live” campaign, Royal Caribbean is showing off some of their most popular cruise destinations through Periscope live stream. Within minutes, these videos are being edited down to 20 minutes worth of footage and displayed on video billboards. New videos are released daily.
