Digital marketing is growing quicker than expected

Before the start of the year, it was predicted that advertising growth would be around 4.5 percent; however, this was revised down to 4.2 percent. While this growth is still decent, advertisers are disappointed in the actual numbers. This decrease in growth has affected mostly print advertisers. While they’re unhappy, digital advertisers are celebrating thanks to the 15.7 percent growth in this sector, the only sector with double-digit growth. This is led in large part by mobile advertising and isn’t expected to slow down in the coming years. In fact, the digital advertising growth has already reached 20 percent in some areas of the world.
