The Future of Search

Search advertising options have been limited and stagnant for years, as Google has dominated the market. But times may be changing, and marketers may see more options in the future.

While search advertising options haven’t evolved much, neither has user behavior. Google has had a majority of searches on desktop computers and nearly all searches on mobile, following by Microsoft’s Bing. But the entry of other competitors could shake things up. Using specific sites for unique searches may lead users to use Amazon for apparel purchases, or Pinterest for home furnishing ideas.
